A Giant Piece Of The Moon Broke Off And Approaches Earth

We can observe our only natural satellite almost every night in the sky. It's beautiful and so mysterious... But there's apparently a piece of the Moon floating in space! It broke off many years ago and is roughly the size of a Ferris wheel. It even has a name... a very strange name. How did it break off and could it be of any harm for our planet?
