A Story of Science and Friendship
At NASA, friendship and discovery go hand-in-hand. For more than three decades, Earth scientists Compton Tucker and Piers Sellers were co-workers, roommates, neighbors and best friends. They studied the planet and traveled it together. Piers passed away in 2016 after battling pancreatic cancer. In this story, Compton remembers and honors his dear friend and partner in science.
