Advancements and Successes of the Ariane Rocket

The European Space Agencyʼs Ariane rocket offered the first commercial launch service. To maintain its cost advantage ESA needed to keep improving the Ariane series and, in 2005, after a number of setbacks, the Ariane 5 ECA entered service.
