In this lesson, we learned alternative ways to show multiplication and division in algebraic expressions. Instead of using the traditional X symbol for multiplication, we can use a dot or parentheses to indicate multiplication. Similarly, for division, we can use either the ÷ symbol or represent it as a fraction.
