Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Sha'Carri Richardson, and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce set a new championship record time of 41.75 seconds to win the women's 4x100-metre relay final at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo. Canadians Sade McCreath, Jacqueline Madogo, Marie-Eloise Leclair and Audrey Leduc finished in seventh place.
