Atoms and Molecules - what is the difference??
Atoms are the basic building blocks of all matter and they are very very small. They are made up of protons, neutrons and electrons and they are the smallest unit of matter that still retains the basic properties of an element. Molecules are different from atoms in that they form when two or more atoms bond together and they bond together to become more stable. You can kind of think about atoms as the building blocks that are used to make molecules. In this video, we will help you understand the main differences between atoms and molecules to help you succeed in chemistry!
