Aurora

The Aurora has fascinated and intrigued people for ages. It is a display of light in Earth’s magnetosphere caused by high energy particles arriving to the planet in the solar wind. The Aurora is seen in both hemispheres. In the northern hemisphere it is called the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights.
