Changes on Earth

In this video students identify evidence from patterns in rock formations and fossils to explain changes in the landscape over time. Live-action video footage of different lanscapes illustrate landscape changes. Students provide their own explanations that describe how the land has changed based on scenes in North America. This program correlates to the Next Generation Science Standard: 4. Earth's Systems: Processes that Shape the Earth, 4-ESS1-1.
