Chugging vs. Sipping: Is It Bad To 'Chug' Water?

It is better to sip water rather than chugging it down. Thats why certain water bottles have a narrower opening than required. Imagine a case where you have a sudden urge to drink water (obviously, youre thirsty). You gulp down a glass of water hastily. But this is a bad practice as it leads to the improper absorption of water within the body. Moreover gulping simply expedites the bodily process of flushing out excess of water which would result in frequent urination.
