Crazy Crocodile Catch!
Here’s the scenario – you are on an airboat in the cooling canals of a nuclear power plant...at night. There are huge crocodiles all around you, now hang off the front of the boat and catch one of the smaller crocodiles with your bare hands. Oh, and you have to keep all your fingers in the process! This is Coyote’s challenge, but can he pull it off? Check out this episode to find out! American Crocodiles were at one time on the brink of extinction in the United States until a handful of conservation efforts, like the one at Turkey Point, helped revitalize their population which has resulted in their down listing from an endangered to a threatened species. The capture of a juvenile crocodile that is thriving on the grounds of Turkey Point is proof that this conservation effort is truly making a difference to save this species!
