A cylinder with the same radius and height as that of a cone has three times more volume. make a cone from a water proof tetrapak to fit snugly into a film can cylinder. now fill the cone thrice with sand and pour it in the cylinder to fill it up completely. this is a great experiment to prove that the volume of a cylinder is three times that of a cone.
