Determining End Behavior of Polynomials
In this video, we explore the concept of end behavior in polynomials. We learn that the behavior of a polynomial as x approaches positive or negative infinity depends on the degree and leading coefficient of the polynomial. We examine power functions and their patterns to understand how the highest degree term dominates the values of the function as x grows larger. By comparing the polynomial to a power function, we can determine whether the end behavior is up towards positive infinity or down towards negative infinity.
