Does "100% Humidity" Mean Air Has Turned to Water?
Humidity is simply a measure of how "wet" the air is in a specific place, or the amount of water vapor present in the air. However, it's important to note that humidity is an umbrella term that can refer to three different types of humidity: absolute humidity, relative humidity, and specific humidity. Weather forecasters typically use relative humidity during weather reports. So, a "100% relative humidity" does not mean that air has become water. Rather, it means that any additional moisture cannot enter the air and must remain as water.
