Exploring Words: Rhymes, Syllables, and Beginning Sounds

This program meets Common Core kindergarten reading standards as it introduces phonological awareness.  Kids will demonstrate greater understanding of spoken words, syllables, and sounds (phonemes), recognize and produce rhyming words, count, pronounce, blend, and segment syllables in spoken words, and blend and segment onsets and rhymes of single-syllable spoken words.  On-screen, multiple-choice reviews at the end of each segment reinforce important concepts and make learning fun.
