Finding Simple & Compound Probability
In this math video we will be finding Simple & Compound Probability. We will be answering a 4 part constructed response question where we are asked to show or explain our reasoning. We will be using an organized list to find simple probability of an event. We will understand that simple probability is the ratio of the desired outcome to the total possible outcomes. We will simplify all ratios. We will create a tree diagram to represent two events and use it to find compound probability. We will identify that the event of rolling a number cube has 6 possible outcomes. We will review that to find compound probability mathematically you multiply the probability of the first event by the probability of the second event. An exemplar solution is modeled for each of the four parts. Grade 7 Common Core Topics/Standards
