Graphing Absolute Value Functions Using Transformations
In this lesson, we learned how to graph absolute value functions by using transformations. We reviewed the concept of absolute value as the distance from zero on a number line and how it can be represented algebraically. We also explored how to graph absolute value functions using a T-table and identified the domain and range of these functions. Finally, we applied these concepts to a real-life scenario of a hot air balloon ride to determine its maximum height and the time it takes to reach that height.
