Heredity: Mendel's Garden

This program introduces the idea of the inheritance of traits. Attention is given to some of the fascinating features which are heredity-based not only in humans, but also in other plants and animals. The work of the father of modern genetics, Gregor Mendel, is outlined. The inheritance of certain recessive and dominant traits is explored. Other terminology includes: traits, inheritance, genes, dominant, and recessive.
