Historic Preservation Meets Eco-Renovation

The Rehafutur project in Loos-en-Gohelle involves renovating a 300 square meter UNESCO heritage building to achieve high energy performance while preserving its industrial heritage. The project uses state-of-the-art ecological materials and techniques, aiming for a passive standard of energy consumption. This initiative serves as a training ground for local companies and aims to create over 10,000 construction jobs in the future by renovating 65,000 workers' houses in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais mining district.
