Here is a quick demonstration how lungs work with a plastic bottle and two balloons I have prepared for Alex. When we pull knotted balloon, more space inside the bottle is created. To fill that space more air is sucked in thru the red balloon inflating it in the process. The opposite happens when we release green balloon and push it inside
