How to Melt Crayons in the Oven
Oh, snap! Another crayon has broken… But instead of tossing them away, why not turn them into something new? We show you how you can repurpose your old and broken crayons into cool, fresh ones. All you need is a fun shaped tray. From dinosaurs to flowers, shapes and letters, there are so many you can choose from. Then you can too make your own colourful, unique crayons. Materials: - Old or broken crayons - Shape moulds (we have used dinosaur chocolate moulds, but any silicone mould will work too) Instructions: (1) Break your crayons into small pieces. (2) Place each chunk into the mould (make sure they are full) (3) Place the mould into the oven for 10 minutes at 250° (4) Take the crayons out of the oven and let them cool (5) Once set, pop each crayon out of the mould to reveal your nice, new crayon!
