Introduction to the Metric System: Introduction

This program introduces students to the usefulness and fun of the metric system. The concept of measurement as related to the metric system kicks off the video, followed by examples of how the metric system is used in science. Through a series of real-life examples, basic units of metric length, volume, mass, and temperature are introduced.
