Ions and Ionic Compounds

The program offers a brief review of ions. Students will learn what determines the charge on an ion and how ionic bonds are formed. Viewers will come to understand that ionic bonds form due to electrostatic attraction between two ions of opposite charge. Real world examples are also provided.
