Is the Shape of Colorado a Boring Rectangle?

If you look at a map of America youÕll see a couple of states that are rectangles. But if we take a closer look these states are not rectangles at all. The curvature of the Earth and errors present in surveys of the states have led to states such as Colorado actually not being rectangles at all.
