Magnets and Static Electricity

This video explores cause and effect relationships of magnetism, as well as electric interactions. The program explains how students can conduct an activity that illustrates how magnets exhibit forces on specific types of matter, and other magnets. They will also conduct an experiment that illustrates the nature of static electricity. This program correlates to the following Next Generation Science Standard: 3. Forces and Interactions, 3-PS2-3.
