MONSTER FROGFISH FOUND!

On this episode of Beyond the Tide, Coyote and Mark find two MONSTER Frogfish while scuba diving in Hawaii! Along with being director Mark’s favorite animal, these angler fish are amazingly bizarre! They can swim like a fish, hop along the seafloor like a frog, and swallow prey the same size as themselves! They also have the unique ability to attract their prey with a lure like appendage, which is responsible for their common nickname the “angler fish”. This is literally a fish that goes fishing for its meals…it’s pretty incredible to see!
