New App sends text message when plants need water

Researchers at Oso Technologies will begin production on a device that helps people keep their indoor and outdoor plants alive by sending text messages to users on their smartphone alerting them when their plants need watering. Plant Link uses a combination of soil sensors and software that constantly monitors plant water levels.
