People and the Environment: Resource Conservation

Students will explore the notion of resource conservation, and identify the differences between renewable and non-renewable resources. Some of the ways our environment may be harmed via pollution, deforestation, species extinction, and habitat destruction are also addressed. Other terminology includes: wildlife conservation, endangered species, treatment plants, recycling, and biodiversity.
