In this video we'll be looking at zinc(Zn), copper (Cu), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), iron (Fe), lithium (Li), magnesium (Mg) and sodium (Na) and their reaction to water and acid. You may have noticed that most of the elements in the Periodic table are metals. All metals have similar physical and chemical properties, but not identical. By looking at a small number of metals we can investigate how they vary chemically, which we will do in this video.
