We are taking advantage of the fact that all of a sudden we have lots of ants in our garden by doing some science experiments. We made colourful syrups by mixing sugar, water and food colouring and put a few drops for our ants to enjoy. Then we were watching ants picking their colours and drinking syrups. It was curious to see how their abdomens got bigger and changed colours. Can you see the colour change in the video?
