Solids, Liquids, and Gases: Gases in Action
What are the differences between solids, liquids, and gases? In this program students will investigate real-life examples of the various phases of matter. Colorful animations illustrate how these states differ in the movement of particles. The types of phase changes are graphically displayed. Other terminology includes: plasma, crystalline and amorphous solids, viscosity, freezing, vaporization, evaporation, and condensation.
