Sustainability and Natural Resources: Introduction
This program serves as an introduction to resource sustainability, focusing on the key strategies of resource efficiency, recycling, reusing, and reducing. The long-term impacts of resource use on human health and the environment are assessed. The program focuses on things all of us can do to increase natural resource efficiency. Other important terminology includes: waste, inefficiency, incentives, waste reduction, throwaway society, recycling, hazardous waste, landfill, and resource contamination.
