Students will learn about the discovery of cells, the development of the cell theory, and the differences between animal cells and plant cells, Animations illustrate the different parts of a cell. Other terminology includes: organelles, cell wall, cell membrane, cytoplasm, mitochondria, ribosomes, vacuole, nucleus, chromosomes, and lysosomes.
