Turbidity: our connection to nature
The Restoration Planet team explores an environmental disaster very close to home, the Mount Polley tailings dam failure of August 2014. Turbidity is an intimate and poetic perspective on one of Canada's largest environmental disasters. The film was shot entirely on the stunningly beautiful Quesnel Lake BC and the pristine rivers that supply its crystal clear water. Here locals speak about their love of and connection to the land, and why nature is so important.
