Understanding Decimal Place Value and the Relationship Between Digits

In this lesson, students will learn about the relationship between digits in a number and how place value decreases 10 times with each shift to the right. Through the use of number lines, students will understand how to determine the value of digits in different places and how to find 1/10th of a number. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to confidently identify and compare the values of digits in various decimal places.
