Using Convex Lenses to Magnify

Using animation and real world examples, this video explores the change in kinetic energy of particles with heating and cooling that produces expansion and contraction and change in density in matter. Students will observe and come to understand convection in liquids and gases in terms of density changes. The program also discusses and demonstrates what is meant by plastic and how it is effect by heating and cooling.
