DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is a molecule that is often called the blueprint of life. Located in the nucleus, the DNA is a very long molecule with a helix winding structure like a twisted ladder. The rungs of the ladder are made of four different chemicals that pair with each other - A with T, C with G. The sequence of these chemicals is how the information is stored in DNA.
