Why is the Great Red Spot on Jupiter growing?

Jupiter is huge and incredibly hot, with the temperatures reaching about 43,000˚F at the planet's core. Unfortunately, you can't land on Jupiter's surface because, being a GAS giant, it doesn't have any solid surface.
