World's Most Famous Snapping Turtle

In the series premiere Coyote Peterson will relive his storied history with the beloved reptiles he calls “Mud Dragons” and describe how these monster sized turtles gave him his start that eventually lead to the popular wildlife series Breaking Trail. As you will soon learn, this grand adventure all began in a local metro park many years ago when Coyote first encountered the World’s Most Famous Snapping Turtle named Cornelius. When Coyote first pulled him up from the mud that day a lifelong bond was formed and it is the search for this very turtle, Coyote’s original “White Whale”, that kicks off our adventure into the swamps and lakes of North America.
