This experiment is very graphic. mix isopropyle alcohol with equal quantities water. dip a cloth in this mixture and pick it up with a pair of tongs. seek adult help to light the cloth. observe safety rules. you will see the cloth burn with a clear blue flame. wait until the flame dies out. surprisingly , the cloth will not burn. the alcohol will burn and the water will evaporate leaving the cloth intact
