Fractions and Percents in the Real World

In this short math video we will answer a standardized math test question where we identify and understand fractions & percents in the real world. We will decode, interpret and understand the math question. We will write a percent as a fraction in simplest form to understand the part to whole ratio. We will combine, or add, fractions. We will identify the correct fraction model that represents our solution. We will interpret the question and discuss the NOT as a distractor. We will identify the correct solution. An exemplar solution is modeled and explained.
