How to Find the Area of a Parallelogram
In this math video we will learn how to find the area of a parallelogram. We will begin by identifying the formula for the area of a parallelogram; A=bh. We will understand that bh represents b multiplied by h. We will review how to identify the base of the given parallelogram. We will also understand that the height of a parallelogram is perpendicular to the base. We will replace b and h in the formula with the identified measures of the base and the height. We will multiply the base by the height. We will identify the correct answer from the multiple choice answers. An exemplar solution is modeled and explained.
