Children learn through using their senses so sensory play isn’t just about fun, it’s also teaching them lots of new things! This sensory activity lets children discover a new bubbly texture. Why not extend this play by letting them explore new colours and scents? Set this quick activity up in less than 5 steps and with items, you already have in your kitchen! So without having to break the bank or find the time you don’t have, you can let your little ones immerse in a new sensory experience. ⭕ Materials: - Tub - Water - Washing-up liquid - Whisk - Food colouring - Essential oils / extract (optional) ⭕ Instructions: (1) Start by filling a tub halfway with water. (2) Add the washing-up liquid and whisk until foamy. (3) Now, add in a few drops of food colouring and whisk again. (4) Here you can add different colours and maybe even some essential oils to give it a scent.
