Lenticular Clouds
By WeatherthingsFrom BoclipsOctober 16, 2025
Lenticular Clouds are also known as Lenticularis because they are shaped like a lens. They are common over mountains where air is forced to rise and sink, forming smooth clouds above the mountains and downwind of the mountains. They also can happen in places where there are no mountains.
