Spaceship One, created by Paul Allen and Dick Rutan, is a groundbreaking spacecraft displayed at the Smithsonian Institute's National Air and Space Museum. It claimed the X Prize by completing two space flights within two weeks, carried by the mothercraft White Knight to a height of over 15,000 meters.
