Understanding Decimal Place Value: Constructing a Place Value Chart

In this video, students will learn about the relationship among the values of decimal places and how it is similar to that of whole numbers. By constructing a place value chart, students will understand how each decimal place is related and how the value of each place is 10 times larger or smaller than the place to its right or left.
