DIY Christmas Gift: Rattle Drum

If you can't invite all the friends you want this holiday season for a celebration and you are worried that it is going to be too quiet this year, make these simple rattle drums for your children to bring noise and laughter!
MATERIALS:
- Two identical jar lids
- Ribbon
- Paper Straw
- Beads
- Glue
- Markers
INSTRUCTIONS:
(1) Hot glue a strip of ribbon horizontally one of the lids, leaving plenty of overhangs.
(2) Glue the straw vertically onto the lid, having it slightly poke out the top.
(3) Glue on the second lid on top to form the drum.
(4) Taking the beads, glue two on each end of the ribbon.
(5) Decorate your rattle drum, and spin it to make some noise!
