How to Make a 3D Paper House
Here is a paper dollhouse that children can quickly make on their own! This playhouse can be designed in any way they’d like to suit any figurines they already have. After children are done playing, the house could be easily folded for compact storage. MATERIALS: - Craft paper - Scissors - Marker - Glue - Paperclip INSTRUCTIONS: (1) Take a paper square and fold it half one way, then in half the other way, so it’s like there’s a plus sign in the paper. Cut one of the pluses legs to the centre. You should have two tabs that are still connected to the paper. (2) In the top left square, draw a door. In the bottom left square, draw a path. In the top right square, draw a window. Put glue on the bottom right square. Place the bottom left corner on the top right, so it makes half a 3-D box. Fold the bottom path in the middle towards the centre, and fold the whole thing in half, so it appears to be one square. (3) Repeat step 2, but with 3 other rooms of the house. Glue the “walls” together, leaving one pair unglued. Paperclip this wall together. (4) Cut out details. (5) Fold up your house and take it anywhere you’d like!
