Does anyone else love watching cars on a track? Here is a cardboard game you can create at home, that gives the same lively, speedy fun. This moveable game will have your children switching and turning the track as fast as they can, to keep the ball moving on and on and on! Materials: - Cardboard - Pan lid or plate (something circular) - Pen - Scissors - Ruler - Rolling Pin - Hot glue gun & glue - 4 Wooden dowels - Gimlet - Ball Instructions: (1) Firstly, draw around a plate or pan lid to create a circle. Then draw around a smaller one directly in the middle. (2) Draw 2 small rectangles on either side of the circle, then cut the whole thing out. (3) Repeat the first step again. (4) Cut both circles in half, so you have 4 semi-circles. (5) Place those to one side and get a long piece of cardboard. Use the rolling pin to flatten it. (6) Cut out strips and hot glue them to each semi-circle. Make sure to include the inner side as well. (7) Now take 4 small rectangles of cardboard and glue each one to a small wooden dowel. (8) Arrange the cardboard into a figure of 8 and use the gimlet to make a hole in each piece. (9) Place the wooden dowel into each hole, to attach all the pieces together. (10) Use 4 more small pieces of cardboard to cover the dowels on the opposite side. (11) Test it works, then add your ball to the track for lots of fun!
