Using Pythagorean Theorem in the Real World

We will identify the legs and hypotenuse of a right triangle. We will be presented with a real world situation with a ladder and a slide forming right triangles. We will use the Pythagorean Theorem to determine the length of a slide. We will use the Pythagorean Theorem to find a missing leg. We will use the Pythagorean Theorem to find a missing hypotenuse. We will solve an equation using square roots. An exemplar solution is modeled and explained.
